This SMS Privacy Policy describes how JPMerc & Co. ("JPMerc & Co.," "we," "us," or "our") handles mobile phone numbers and information in connection with its internal operational alert and notification messaging program. JPMerc & Co. is an IT leadership and managed-services firm based in Southborough, Massachusetts.
JPMerc & Co. collects a mobile phone number only after an authorized member of our organization has provided written consent to receive internal system notifications, urgent operational alerts, and automated administrative messages. We use the mobile number solely to deliver those messages. We do not use it for marketing or advertising.
This is a private, internal messaging program. Before a mobile number is enrolled, the recipient receives the written consent notice published on our SMS Consent Procedure and provides a written acknowledgement from their organization email address. JPMerc & Co. records the recipient's name, mobile number, date, and acknowledgement before activating alerts. Consent is never bought, sold, rented, transferred, or inferred from a pre-existing business relationship.
You may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying STOP to any message; we will send one confirmation message and then stop. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at the address below. Message and data rates may apply; message frequency varies with system activity.
Mobile numbers are retained only for as long as the recipient participates in the internal alerting program and are protected using reasonable administrative and technical safeguards consistent with our practice as a managed-services provider.
